Solar Power!

 

The entire studio is powered by over 2600 watts of solar panels permanently affixed to the roof.  There are six 48V 100AH lithium iron phosphate batteries which store enough power for the studio to continue operating even at night when the solar array does not produce DC.

Power is managed by a 6000W split phase inverter / charger intended for full residential off-grid use.

The truck creates its own neutral via a 15kVA shielded transformer and all equipment circuits have their own isolated ground.

Since the truck is not connected to a grid power source, the equipment sees a constant 120V and boasts an exceptionally low noise floor.  The use of battery power also ensures that even if a venue or residence suffers a power drop or outage, the mobile will continue to operate without the aid of a UPS.

If the truck is parked outside with the panels receiving direct sunlight, the entire studio including equipment, air conditioning and all amenities will operate 24hrs a day indefinitely.
